Jess Hill comes from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Appalachia, where she discovered her love for flipping, flying and climbing on things.  With a background in gymnastics and dance, she began training circus at the age of 18 while attending college in Asheville, North Carolina.  She then moved to Southern Vermont to complete the Professional Track Program at the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA), where she focused on static Trapeze, Corde Lisse, and ensemble work.  She has performed with the Runaway Circus, Asheville Aerial Arts, Bromelia Aerial Dance Collective, SHOW Circus Studio, Open Ring Circus and Big Teeth Performance Collective.  She also loves teaching aerials and acrobatics to folks of all ages, and currently teaches at NECCA and SHOW Circus Studio.
